Marketing Officer

Base (Negotiable) Travel to HO (Shrewsbury) required

£14,114 – £16,107 per annum

Part Time, Maternity Cover until April 2022.

Field Studies Council is one of the UK’s leading providers of outdoor environmental education.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join a small and busy marketing team to develop and implement campaigns across FSC’s market sectors, utilising the marketing mix in the most cost-effective way possible.

The successful applicant will identify and use a variety of marketing channels to engage with potential customers of FSC products and services, increase website traffic and drive online enquiries and sales. Working closely with our Sales Team and other stakeholders you will work to ensure we meet our commercial targets.

You will possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, to include English and Maths, or equivalent, Marketing or related qualification/experience We’re looking for someone with 2 years+ relevant experience of working in Marketing including of campaign planning, delivery and measurement. Experience of using social media, content creation and website analytics will support your application.

Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing are key to this position, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences at all levels, including whilst working from a remote location and a positive and passionate attitude towards your work.
